Japenese made achromat ,I've done most of the lunar 100 with this scope and found it a great performer , the views through it and a zeiss ortho were quite amazing really.
issues
mount,, Australia post managed to break the (cast ) mounting saddle under the ota , I made another from steel it works fine and you'd be hard to pick it without knowing .
Theres a small amount of backlash in the alt motion that I've never been able to get right , the alt slow mo which works well dosn't pick it up anyway.
ota theres a very slight imperfection internaly between the lens elements , its definately not fungal as it hasn't changed over the years ... dosn't effect performance
the dewshield .. when I repainted the ota the removable dew shield had a mishap at hit the concrete ,two , very small dings , it still screws on and offI havn't bothered repainting or trying to tidy up the threads on
it .
$125 plus postage , pick up in brisbane is available in a week or two
