In this photo was used some tips from Alpal to better working with stars. Despite I haven't full knowledge of mask use, I feel to be in a good direction

As I haven't a good set of equipment to photography, I try capture some aspects not always highly sought after from the sky.

Furthermore The GSO 12" has a good optic and this let me to see some details of objects without saturation.

Soon I will no longer be able to enjoy a good sky, because it occurs building many trades with a large amount of lighting. Therefore I have strived for capturing as much as possible before such PL get worse. I will loose the confort of my observatory.

Sorry to here your night sky is going to be ruined by light pollution. I had this problem 14 years ago when I lived in town. It was reasonable for a while. Then they changed the street light, and it shone right into my observatory. I got them to lower the height of it and I put up a block out blind which helped.

Then the neighbours, one in particular had three flood lights put on sensors, they used to turn on when the wind blew or a moth flew past, basically all the time.

That was the last straw, so decided to move out of the town for this reason and others.

Hope you can come up with some solutions to your problems.
