last week I got this pic, Corona Australis, with the Canon 5DH and 300mm f2.8 lens both from Bert. I used a f3.5 external aperature stop. No filters.
12x10 minutes ISO200.

Full size version here (http://d1355990.i49.quadrahosting.com.au/Scott/coronaaust12x10minsiso200mod350d10i nch12degpsmst.jpg)

Fits in a fair bit more then the 350D.
Note: file name says "350D" but it was shot with the 5DH.

hand guided as usual.

 Wow Scott!!

That's stunning!

How the hell did you do that??
The colour, stars and depth are great, the nebulosity just seems to float on the foreground.

Cheers,

Justin.

scotty - how did you do your flats? looks like you were using the house lit up again by the striping?

Thanks all
I used a sheet of A3 paper lit by fluro lamp for flats. For the 10 inch I use a white sheet rather than the side of the house nowdays. A little bit of gradients thanks to the newcastle light pollution.

Looks very good to me Scott. The dust looks like you have a spotlight on it or did you use a a very big flash?
