Hi All,
I know the Canon and DSLR Cameras are fantastic specially when modified, for Nebula an Ha work, but im seeing what I can get out of it at the other end of the range, these shots were trial shots and could be improved on with taking more exposures, M51 is difficult for me as its right over the Marina/Boat harbour (lots of light pollution) and at a very low angle, still it was reasonable-considering, the other Galaxies which are small (approx. 7 x 5 arc-min.) and all around Mag. 9 or less are difficult subjects, and at F-10 very dim, One Galaxy (just named Galaxy) I forgot to jot down its designation (will identify and post later).
P.S. The ??? Galaxy is "M63"- you are spot on Doug.
Yes I know ive got some dust or grime in the optical system somewhere, and will find time to clean everything (oneday) so there are no dark spots on my Pix. (its all a time thing).

cheers............Jim

L to R......M51, M64, ngc3628, Galaxy???

all Pix. 5 x 6 Min. Exp. at ISO800 DF removed, guided- Scope LX200-10"/F-10- Canon EOS300-D modded.
