Hi everyone. This is my first Astrofest 2012 project. Years ago, these were the first galaxies I saw through a telescope, and the view totally blew my mind. Three tiny smudges in the eyepiece, but what they were, and where they were....wow, my brain hurt:confused2:. So I thought I owed it to these little jewels to image them with thanks for the remarkable journey they set me upon - Astronomy! Image details- LRGB 180-90-90-90 TSA 120 SXVR-H16. All subs 10 mins 1x1. Should check out the full res link HERE (http://www.pbase.com/darr3ll/image/145547036) for galaxy and background detail.
Thanks for looking! Comments and advice apprieciated:)

Lovely work Darrell. Nice round stars, lovely flat background and good saturation. I would just back off the cyan just a tiny bit. Other than that this is a really nice image. Certainly something for me to image and thanks for the reminder.

Wow! Heaps of faint fuzzies visible in the larger version! Love being able to swim around and pick out how many galaxies in there.
