Two clear nights in a row without a Moon and at last can take some decent pictures. I am almost as happy as a planetary imager with 10/10 seeing. Here is M16 I hope in a new light (pun intended).

Canon 5DH, ISO1600, ICNR ON, Hutech LPR filter, 100ED 640mm F6.4, 11X6min, corrected with flat in ImagesPlus, stacked with Registar, digitally developed in IP, RL enhanced, stretched in IP.

Another beauty Bert.

Would love to see this camera in action at a much longer focal length.....any options for you there Bert.

Bert you realise that there are some of us that are image sensitised now, I mean we cannot go back to looking at ours anymore and you will now have to supply us with images for life like this or better!

Is that a edge on galaxy lower left near edge?

Thanks Striker, I do have a TAL 200k 200mm F10 but the HEQ5 'jumps' are too much at this FL. I have ordered the Astromeccanica motors and DA1 drive this should solve the inherent jumps and backlash in the HEQ5.

You are correct! I did not even notice the typo. That's what happens when you are up all night for two nights in a row and no beer, Thanks.
