Seeing did not let me down.
Clouds have, but this is the best i have seen it and got 4 avis to process
Here is a quick 60 seconds only stack. i am trying not to blur IO, so 60 second avis only
Registax run though only.
More to go and hopefully the clouds have gone away and I can get GRS etc
C'mon, where's the final image?? You've had *at least* 20 minutes since that last post... :-)

Yeah, c'mon Davo, quit stalling!
I was observing that, absolutely gobsmacked binoviewing with the 12" Dob. :eyepop: Seeing was very good here too at times, but it did not last long.

Another great result Dave, you've had a couple of crackers in a row!
I really like the right-hand shot in this one - the colours you're coming out with lately is like the look I have generally been trying to achieve.
Can't wait for the final versions.

Awesome David... Love that 2nd one.
We had quite good seeing last night here as well, at the society mtg, but by the time I got home it had clouded :( so didn't get the chance to image.

Fantastic Dave. It's great to see everything coming together for you. You have put a huge amount of work into your Jupiter efforts in the past few months and it is really paying big dividends. Congratualtions. :cool2:

Geez, Dave, I dunno. Can't you get any closer ?
I bet NASA are feeling pretty silly right now, spending all that money putting telescopes in space.
Congrats (AGAIN!),
Brian.

Superb shots Dave, congratulations! I sat watching Jupiter for some time last night with my 8" Dob and it was as good as I have ever seen. It's amazing how quickly the moons change position. Usually I have a casual look and move on but due to the great seeing I observed for some time. Starting to think it would be terrific to have a motorised scope!
Regards IanG
sweet shot dave!!!
almost as good as my last entry in your comp :P

Dave, a fantastic result, considering the smoke pollution the forestry industry are throwing our way at the moment, I am amazed that you have managed to get such incredible detail.

Dave,I ran your fine pic through Richardson-Lucy Adaptive correction in ImagesPlus. I could be way out of line here but it works for faint nebulousity in DSO's.
Two versions 5x5 and 7x7 box

Davo, brilliant, beautiful snaps. Love the second one of the last two you posted.
I'm jealous though, the seeing here was absolutely appalling at the same time... I'm embarrassed to post, but what they hey:P

Fantastic. What a great shot. I appreciate people's Jupiter pics so much more when I remember looking at it myself through the scope at the same time.

Now that is something quite special - huge image scale and incredible detail. Don't keep us waiting too long for the finished product.

Davo,
excellent work. I don't know if it just this lappy monitor but your right hand pic appears 3 dimensional making Io lift off the surface of Joop!

It's not just your lappy Ken. I can see it too. I also got the same distinct impression of looking at a 3-D image at the eyepiece. It must be the way the shadow is cast. Very cool indeed. (but need to flip those pics upside down, Davo ;))
