l took the advise and tried my first processed image
4 x 2 min unguided with Zenithstar 80
iso 800 canon 350d
slight processing in photoshop

simply inspirational for someone like me!
is the 350d modified or "off the shelf"? (I'm thinking of getting one myself to replace the very limited fujipix s7000 i have)

Nice shot Mick. Again, I bet there are heaps more detail if you adjust the levels a bit. Give it ago.

There is a lot to be said for imaging through these short FL widefield refractors Mick :thumbsup:. While still challenging, they are not too tough to work with, and can produced stunning results while you're learning the guiding curve :scared:
