Well, I went back up to Mt Stromlo again last night, and with the lessons learned from the previous night I built a proper wind shelter and hid inside with the scope, away from the nasty breezes.
The seeing was very good, probably the best I've had in Canberra. Here are 3 images from the session...

Very nice Anthony.
The one on the right for me, although all 3 are superb.
I also like the soft "smoothness" of the one on the left.
Great work:thumbsup:

Hi Anthony
Superb set of images, amazing dedication, excellent processing and so glad that you are getting the seeing and conditions that have failed to materialise in Canberra.
Cheers

awesome, will you get another chance tonight with the GRS???
Nope, not tonight. With only a few days until the trip to Rocky, and a few other jobs to sort out before I go, this might be the last session until I get up there on the 4th.

another beauty, can't wait for rocky and your mate's work from barbados!!! He should be back by now!!!
I know he got married and all, but still there are 10,000 astronomers waiting with baited breath for the results!
