I have a 8" reflector in excellent condition on a HEQ5 pro mount.
I am selling it to get something more portable for the kids like a nexstar5 or 6.
so if anyone is interested in a swap let me know.

Reflector is the bintel one @ f5. It is in excellent condition and has literally only been used a few times.
mirror is in perfect condition.
I have only repositioned the finder scope to the opposite side of the focuser to help balance.
Scope comes in original box.
It is equipped with bob's knobs on the secondary.

it comes on a HEQ5 Pro goto mount with tripod and 2 counterweights.
The mount works very well and has no problems whatsoever.
accurate gotos when setup properly.
handset comes with the latest synscan version.

Also included-
-hotech 1.25" collimator
-8" bahtinov mask
-35mm extension tube.
-finder scope
- dc power cables
-cables to attach scope to computer via handset.( I have done this successfully and it all works well)

I want to sell as a complete system so I am not interested in splitting it up at this stage.
It is basically a complete system except for the battery pack and eyepieces.

Price - $1000

pick up from the Gold Coast.

thanks for looking

Hi bigscope,

Thanks for your offer but I think the 4se will be a bit too small.
I really want a 6se but would consider a 5se.

I will let you know if anything changes.

Thanks for looking :-)

sorry.
I want to replace the scope with something I can use with the kids.

So it would need to be a nexstar 6 (or maybe 5) or the cash.

thanks anyway :-)

oh hey!
sorry I didn't realize that's what you meant. :-)

Yes, most certainly you can use a dslr camera with this set-up .
very well in fact.
as someone mentioned you just need a t-adaptor and you are ready to go.
You will be able to find focus with the dslr no problem.
The extension which is included is to be used for eyepieces.

btw, the focuser is a crayford style 2 speed fucuser.

This still for sale.

I will let this run until next week when I return from being away, then I will be prepared to split it up.

But I would prefer to sell as one.
