Jupiter & Venus 18/8/2012 (From Italy)

First Jupiter a with seeing not so good, but this is the seeing we have in po valley in this period.

Venus done at the same time 03:00-04:00 hard to wake up at these hours.

Some really nice detail there Giuseppe, I think being able to resolve the tiny white ovals toward the polar region is a fair indication of the seeing. Just a little grainy though. We all have very powerful tools these days to process our data and the temptation is always to try for more detail but that comes at a price, regarding how grainy the end result will look, but still a most creditable effort.

Yes, I tried to improve details in particular ovals in the south region but doing this I increased the grainy. I had to stop little before, because the seeing was not so good to let these Reg6 wavelets high.
