Here's one of the shots this morning that didn't really work out because it was overexposed, but after some manipulation of the RAW in Raw Shooter Essentials I was able to make it presentable.

I liked this one because it shows the Southern Cross looking over our marvellous city :)

More processing to do on the rest.. darn ISO 1600! :(

Anyway details for this shot:
18mm, f/3.5, 4s exposure @ ISO1600.

Beautiful shot Mike, why though did you shoot with ISO1600? (jk)

Thats the star8 filter right? Looks great , might have to get me one.

Isn't the the bridge noisy enough without you shooting it at 1600 ISO?

:P

J Joking.

I also hate it when you forget that you have mirror lockup on and you manually click the first click thinking you're exposing.
3 min later you go to release the shutter only to realise you just got a quick snapshot. At least it makes a great dark frame. NOT.

A stunning shot Mike!! Very well done indeed and even more kudos for processing it so well.

And don't worry about the ISO thing...I snapped off 50 shots of the dragonfly at ISO 800...I couldn't be bothered processing so I went out and did it all again at ISO 200.

Thanks guys!

Hopefully i'll have some more shots of yesterday mornings session to post today. Still peeved at the ISO1600 thing, but not much I can do about it now.

I'll go back another morning and re-shoot.
