Need to raise some cash to finish the MkII spectroscope....
Selling these BK7 and SF2 60 degree, 25mm x 25mm prisms. Ideal to build a simple specroscope or to replicate Hutung's observations of planetary nebulae. Can be used directly behind any eyepiece to "resolve" planetary nebulae from the starry background. Incorporated with a finder type telescope and camera lens possible to construct a very capable spectroscope to show the dark elemental lines in the solar spectrum, or stellar emmission spectra for analysis of spectral type and prepare your own H-R diagram. Enough of the sales pitch......
I've got three prisms ( which can be combined to further increase the spectral resolution, the higher the refractive index the higher the dispersion!!)
One only, BK7, 25 x 25, Refraction Index 1.517 $ 12 anywhere in Oz
Two only, SF2, 25 x 25, Refraction Index 1.648 $ 30 each anywhere in Oz
A bargain you can't affort to miss, in the original packaging.
