Hi All,
Did some more galaxy chasing last night, and found the Canon (modded) performs as well as the MX7C did, It does require more and longer exposures but will produce good results on faint galaxies, and through an F10 scope (which isnt fast for photography), some interesting stuff here, M61 (a dogs leg galaxy) + three faint galaxies, and again ngc 4656 taken with longer exposures, M65 and M66 which are approx. Mag. 9 Galaxies and some 35 million L.Y. away, these two galaxies plus ngc3628 (not in this picture) form a Triplet group, but as my FOV at F-10 is only 20 x 30 Arc. Min. I couldent get in in the picture, will try with an F-6.3 Focal reducer one day
All Pix. were 6 x 6 Min. Exp., DF taken at the same time/removed- ISO800, Scope LX200-10"/F10 guided.
cheers.............Jim
