Image I forgot to process, taken on 16th June.
Saxon ED100, Canon 1100D modded, 100x15sec exposures at ISO-800 stacked in DSS and processed in CS5.
Image is in jpeg quality so it lost some detail.
I think the stars could be a little more sharper.

very fascinating image. So many stars :) Upon viewing this image, it inspired me to do a little research on 47 Tuc and Globulars. Very interesting.

Very nice Paula.
Interesting that there appear to be lots of "greenish" stars there!

Thanks guys, It was only a quick process and still not completely happy with it.
Malcolm, I can't see any green on my monitor

Paula I wouldn't say they're green on my iPad but the outer core stars have a greenish hue to them, needs a bit more to the white I think

Looking at the picture on a calibrated monitor the stars on the outside are definitely a very significant and distinct green.

A quick eye-dropper on two stars shows the following values: RGB(172, 214, 106) and RGB(207, 255, 113)

Interestingly the middle of the cluster shows stars which are reasonably neutral yellow in colour.

It's a shame you can't get longer exposure images, there are a lot of stars that would show with a touch more exposure.
How're you getting on with guiding?

I'll have another play with it when i get the chance, as i said its only a quick process.
I took this with the meade starfinder mount before i got the heq5 so there's no guiding.

Ah - cool -
I had a look at one of my images of Tuc47 and the stars that appear vaguely green in your shot are yellow in mine - try installing the HLVG plug in - it's free and removes green at the press of a button.
