G'day Jesse,
I like the shape of the Lizard (Lacerta). You can't see the Lizard that well right now..best seen in Summer but if you look in your Dad's books you can see the Lizard has a zig zag shape that makes him really easy to spot.
A really wierd one is the Crow (Corvus)...have you ever seen a square crow? That's what it looks like in the books! Rark Rark Rarrrrrrrrrrrrr..... :P
Peter.

My boys love Orion. It looks like a saucepan. The surprise is in the saucepans handle though. The Great Nebula of Orion. To us it looks like a giant lions head.

i have not taught her how to reference materials, she just likes to try and copy words. I won't try and correct her. (she is only 6 and already she is "always right")

The scorpion is my favorite shape in the sky. I think the scorpion is one of the easiest ones to see without using a lot of imagination.

You know what, dp and Jesse, it is a lobster. From now on I think I'll always refer to it that way.

I agree!, probably the best.
The great square of pegasus while not as stunning is very obvious. It was the first constellation apart from crux that I learnt when young.
