Not wanting to hijack Derek's thread, so elected to post it here.
It is a beauty for sure, not sure what today will bring, slight cloud and some ash to deal with perhaps.
Taken 6th August 2012, about 0310UT.
It needs a full disk shot to show the extent of course, but this was a miracle as it was, literally a 5 minute slot between clouds/showers.
I'm sure Paul will have a full disk up soon.
SM60/BF10/DMK41.

Thanks team. The less than average weather you sent across is here in full force now, so no solar for me, not for a few days at best.

This image is your best so far. Lovely sharp detail and well tuned. Love the look of the field lines. Time for mosaics mate. Superb and once again you give me hope for my new 80mm Lunt.

Edit, sorry I thought you had a Lunt Gary. Nice SM60 though. What refractor are you using?

LOL, high praise, thank you all.
Paul, the SM60 and BF10 are attached to an old refractor, 840mm focal length, seems a perfect match too.
