Anyone with a Ha scope should really have a look at this. Pics just don't do it justice. You will notice that the left third of the collage isn't as sharp gotta love that fast change in the seeing.
Cheers Derek

Just had a look at a full disk shot on the SWX app on th iPhone, they have a HA shot from Mauna Loa. That is some filament you captured there  it's a good third of the Suns diameter.

Nice Derek.
I got it today too, between showers and never ending cloud.
It's stunning.

I am processing now but I have to say it is probably the longest filament I have seen since 2004. It was nearly half the disk long today when I imaged it. That is nearly 650K long.

Nicely captured.

It must have broke up over night as it was just a small fraction this morning.

Paul had a look at 2.30pm and was still there. It seems to break up and reform quite a bit.
