Seeing was not good on this night, 13th April so about 11 days ago now.. only just got around to finishing the process.
I guess it's no coincidence that when the seeing is bad there's no rush to process the rubbish :) Barely better than a kick in the teeth, this one is :)
Ganymede, Ganymede shadow transit, GRS and Red Jr is nothing to sneeze at, but the jetstream washed away all fine detail.
Thanks for looking.

you'll have no teeth left soon Mike at this rate. ;) Ah, but I remember this night and this particular view well. Was lucky it was one night recently where the seeing really came good and no cloud. Sorry we pushed the jetstream south to you Mike :D

Ok, we have a "seat of the pants" Saturn & now a "kick in the teeth" Joop......Is it obvious what I'm about to say next??.........Yes, tonight I will be going for a knee in the........neptune!
Thats a nice pic Mike actually. I like the smooth texture & colours as a thumbnail :)
combine the 2 for a "kick in the pants uranus?"
nice image mike, taking in to account the seeing that is :)

The holesaws arrived, well, a piece of paper saying that a signature is required arrived.
I need to get them to redeliver when my wife is home. Hopefully the tube arrive(s/d) today.

The bar is getting higher and higher, I can remember when a shot that good would be rarely taken by the proffessional telescopes and never an amateur. No one wants to capture less with their next shot.
Mike your standard is very high, which makes some of us others want to improve also. Thanks for the challenge.
Good work Mike.
Wish I knew how you got that really nice sheen on your images???
Very cool:thumbsup:
By the way, that's a great looking observatory you got there Lester
