Warrigal in the Wild.

Been waiting many years to get a chance to capture one of these dogs in the wild doing its thing.This chap was sunning himself on a graziers dam bank,we disturbed him as we drove through paddock.He was a big strong looking specimen,only one canon on board the 400 L,so got quite a few frames of him as he casually walked away.He was about 200 metres way-when we first pulled up (image 1),and a bit further in next.

Thoughts and crittique welcomed,I'll do some PP a different way when I'm feeling better.But your view points would be handy to read,thanks-Chris

Nice Chris, he certainly has spotted you and probably thinks, what is that thing over there with that long white thing pointed at me.

Thanks Leon,although he was quite,he was sacred -note the tail between legs.Sometimes I see them,and they are more confident and tail up,and usually motor off at a considerable speed.Usually when seen like this,I usually end up meeting them again.

Try howling at him next time. See what happens. Good catch mate.

Thanks,as a wild dog practitioner (its the politically correct name for dingo trapper:shrug:),with twenty years experience,I've 'howled up' plenty of dogs,but its not the right time of year to howl them in.The dog was already scared,so howling may have frightened him further,he just poked along and sat on a near by hill and watched-poor thing-he limped a bit,likely a thorn in one of his feet,he has not ended up in a trap,so he might make it.
