I have a 1880's antique brass telescope that I would like to trade for a CCD camera. The scope has an objective diameter of around 75mm and was sold by Berry and Mackay of Aberdeen. It is similar to other scopes of the time sold by a number of optical shops and was probably made by zambra and negretti. It is missing a few bits but is functional. It is big and handsome (?). I will provide full details and images to anyone interested.
Also have a really old (and massive) Gaunt mount (1885 I think) which I cant make up my mind to sell, keep or donate. Input would be welcome.
I would prefer something like a SBIG ST2000XCM, ST8300, QHY9 or similar mega pixel OSC camera
Of course if there is a value difference we can talk
