Finally some clear dry nights up here in Brisbane! Managed to get some LRGB of the cats paw with with the QSI683 over a couple of nights.

I've been experimenting with Sequence Generator Pro and I was so impressed I've bought a license. If you are using a monochrome camera and a filter wheel and don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on Maxim this is definately worth checking out. In particular the plate solving and autofocus functions are great.

I'm still trying to work out how to process LRGB images - this one is 20x5mins of L and 7x5mins each RGB.

As always, comments/advice welcome.

Wow! Nice blend Peter. Really like that one. The details and focus are top notch. Pretty tight stars too with no ringing. Very well done.

Very nice effort Troy.

Nice to have a bit of fine weather. The wind died down about midnight last night which helped my guiding no end.

I'll hopefully get some processing done in the next few days. As for your LRGB processing, I think you've made a great start!

Were your RGB subs binned 2x2?

Thanks for the feedback. All subs were 1x1 David.

A nice job on the Cat's Paw!! I especially like how sharp and colourful your stars are, something I need to work on with my images.

Good luck at Astrofest,
