EQ6 failed to power up..any suggestions please?

Worked perfectly two weeks ago.
Failed to come on today.

Not the battery....I tested with two.


Is there a fuse somewhere that I should be checking?

Another suggestions?

I was trying to set up to image that mega prom and found the mount won't fire up :(

My CG5 is already at the repairer shop : new boards and new dec motor needed apparently.big $$$$$$ :(:sadeyes:

Two mounts and both busted! This is not good.

Check L1 on the circuit board to see if it is blown. It is a likely culprit.

Btw are you normally running off a power supply or a battery

It's always run off a battery:shrug::confused2:

Do you often ge the flashing led (low voltage)?

Never ever got the flashing red light

Just checked..the power LED does not come on at all on the mount (I had previously set up in bright sunlight)

Also the hand controller does not power up when powered up as you would for a firmware update.

I wonder if it is the power cable?

I'll see if I can borrow one from someone and test it

It was the cable after all.

Unscrewed the end somehow it had gotten loose, put the fuse and spring back, and tightened the cap..and it worked.
