Hi All,
Last night was great viewing weather again, so did my DFs first, put the dew cap on the LX200 (is a heated one), and took lots of short Exp. of M83 + Cent-A,and the results were good, not like my last posted ones, this is just to show what happens when its done as it should be.
The Canon is a mighty Camera for Astronomy, not as sensitive as the MX7C cooled Camera (now my guiding camera) but a nice wide field and lots of definition with its 6 Mp. (the MX7C has about 1/2 a Mp.), im adding a picture taken some time ago using the MX7C of M83 ,for comparison, it only took 3 Min. Exp. to get M83 but the 1/2 Mp. definition leaves a lot to be desired.

M83= 15 x 4 Min. ISO800 DF removed
ngc5128= 11 x 4 Min. Exp. ISO800 DF removed
both guided (LX200-10"/F10)

cheers........Jim

Very nice Jim. The 3rd one is a bit over-cooked on my monitor but the other 2 are stunning! Cent.A is 3D like. M83 is one of my favorite targets. You have done it well.
Cheers
