Parallelogram binoculars mount - Added pics

Hello folks,

I have for sale a parallelogram binocular mount that is in very good conditions. On the mount there are just a few little scratches on the black paint and a little bit of rust on a pair of bolt heads. On the tripod there some scratches and a few very little bumps on the aluminum legs. However they are only esthetically annoyances. All works very well.
$300 + freight.
Bintel sales one identical for $529 + freight (http://www.bintel.com.au/Binoculars/Binocular-Accessories/Bintel-Heavy-Duty--br-Binomount/1323/productview.aspx).
Also Andrews sales a similar mount for $499 + freight (I suspect it may be the same gear, but there aren't pics so take this as a polite guess).

Pick up too is welcome even more.

I replaced the previous crappy pics and added a few that show the mount bolt is not a 1/4 (7mm diameter) but a bigger one. I couldn't determine which one yet, but its diameter is 9mm if this may help.

Hello Daniel,

I've undone it from the tripod with a 15mm wrench and measuring the diameter of the bold with the caliper I get 9mm

I'm not sure if this is the detail you are asking for. Later on when I post the pics I will take one of this bolt this hoping it may help.

I would imaging it would either be 1/4inch or 3/8inch, they, the threads are usually pretty standard.

9mm, sounds like a 3/8" means it will fit a tripod-that's good news

Leon, you are more than welcome. In Italy I'm pretty sure I haven't come across the Imperial measuring system...
It makes sense this mount using a standard bolt so to allow the mount being adaptable to most tripods on the market. I wonder why they don't sell it separately.

Actually, I have some 1/4 bolts and relative nuts in the shed, that I can use to confirm if that is its threads... :rolleyes:
