Just came back from the UK after a six week tour of the south of England and captured this scene at Fowey (pronounced "foy") on the Cornwall coast. My wife and I were out for a stroll at 9 p.m. local time and two herring gulls (twice the size of our seagulls) sidled up beside us hoping for a feed we supposed so a photo opportunity presented itself. My trusty 12 year old Contax TVS 5 Mp digital seems to get better with age (with some help from Paintshop Pro) and I think this shot is up there with the latest crop of point & shoot cameras.

Cool image! Looks like the sort of place I would like to retire to.

Nice shot of a nice spot, would love to visit there one day as just down the road a piece is where my great great great grand parents lived at St Erth.

Great great arrived in OZ in1865, even paid his own way :P it was the other side of the family that had the bracelets on when they came out.:eyepop:

That's amazing Ken. Grandfolks on my Mother's side come from Cornwall/Devon.
