My first attempt in taking and processing Hubble pallette images, also tried various techniques to reduce the star size & bloating.

Date: 19/07/2012 from my city backyard
Scope: LX90 8" with CCDT67 reducer
Mount: HEQ5
Camera: QSI583wsg
Guiding: Orion SSAG
Astronomik 12nm narrowband filters

5x10mins Ha
5x10mins SII
5x10mins OIII

Captured using MaximDL and post processing with Photoshop.

Well that's alright Victor ...some will not like the magenta stars but that's how they should be really, we have just gotten used to images where the lovely purple stars have been replaced with an RGB set :)

Thanks all for the feedbacks... I'm still reading and experimenting on how to extract stars from image and overlay it with the RGB stars. I find that the SII & OIII subs stars are a lot bigger than the Ha one, is that normal?
