This is a large and faint emission nebula surrounding the 2nd magnitude star Delta Sco. I'm going to try and get some Ha for it but the weather seems to have turned a little unreliable again. Had lots of trouble with gradients, reflections and blooms on this one. Very hard to find any images of Sharpless 7 and this image only shows the brightest part.
Cheers

It must be faint, Steve. An interesting looking object!

Hi Steve,
Tuff object!
Looks good already, can't wait to see it with the extra data.
Cheers,
Justin.

Thanks Justin.
Thanks Rick. The bright star makes it even harder. I had never heard of it previously myself. My colleague in the US who specializes in the Sharpless objects wanted me to image it.

Interesting object there Steve.....not sure about the star colour though - they all appear to be reddish/brown?
cheers

Thought I saw a few white ones there Martin but you are probably right. Star colour might have suffered when I was trying to remove the gradients. I'll have a look at it.

Wow!what a great target choice Steve, and still turned out great despite the obvious problems....well done.

Thanks Louie. I'm going to try and get some Ha for it tonight.
Nice to see different targets! Nice work! :)

Thanks Ross and Grant. I've just produced a version with Ha which I think is much better than the LRGB.
Cheers
