I'm not being rude, I've been laid up in hospital for two days with a suspected heart attack, waiting on results today.
Apologies if anyone has been waiting on responses from me, if all goes well I will go home this evening.
Of course I have been informed that the last two nights have been crackingly clear skies.
Cheers

get well soon Peter
Hi Peter,
Wishing you all the best and hoping that the results of the tests are either all clear
or at worse minor and correctable without surgery.
It is not a lot of fun being in hospital and though they don't serve bacon with fried
eggs in the cardiology ward for breakfast, take heart that you are in the
best possible place one can be if another event should suddenly occur.
Just be careful not to drop the nitroglycerin tablet and take out the ward. :)

Peter hope you make a full recovery.

Thanks everyone for the kind words, I'm back home as of this morning and still awaiting some test results etc. and doing exactly as I am told, as much as you can with 3 kids anyway :)
It is a bit of a surprise, I'm 43, I never smoked, drink maybe a bottle of wine a month on average, and half of that goes into my risotto or spag-bol and I'm about 6'1" and 78kg so I'm not particularly overweight and my cholesterol is low as I can't handle dairy and rarely eat meat.
(It may be as a result of the chemo in the past causing some problems but that is only a slim possibility and I'll know for sure soon.)
However, to be fair I am not 'fit' as such. Since I lost the farm and moved into town I have found it difficult (i.e. I make excuses) to get much exercise, so although I look slim and trim-ish I am totally out of condition. Two laps of the local pool and I am really out of breath.
Once all the data is in on this I think it will be time to change that and make a sensible amount of regular exercise a standard part of my day.
Thanks again everyone for your kind thoughts.
all love
-Peter

The good news is no permanent heart damage but I have some ways to go for a full recovery and a bit of time yet to spend in the hospital system. But home again and feeling a lot better. Thanks everyone for the kind thoughts and words.
