Hi all
Heres some new images taken with the Meade 6 inch Cometracker Schmidt Newtonian.
NGC 5128,
the Antannae and NGC 4027 and
CG4 were taken without the UHCS filter, the
Vela Supernova Remnant and
Running Chicken nebula with the UHCS filter.
The CG4 pic shows the larger cloud from with CG4 protrudes

Hi Scott
Love that CG4 shot , the 6" seems to be working even better .wonder if its worth getting the corrector coated , I think Chi Qin can do that sort of stuff .

Very nice as usual Scott.... Man that CG4 is dim huh! I thought about giving it ago last night, but it would've been a struggle with my light polluted skies.
Boy you do get through some work in a single night! I was out for 4hrs last night and only got two images that I've yet to process! How do you do it...?
Cheers

Thanks all. I only intended to do CG4 but the skies looked better and the small amount of cloud cleared so I kept on going.
I have thought of getting the corrector coated, or even going the whole hog and getting the mirrors dielectric silvered too.
Yes CG4 is a faint one thats for sure. I wonder how the 10 will go when I get its freshly coated mirror back. Nice shot of it Zane, theres a hint of reddish H alpha emission there by the look of it.

Just as a matter of interest, what's the damage getting the corrector coated and the mirror redone?
