Boy, this telescope rocks when the seeings good! :eyepop:
Best one so far for me. This ones taken @ 10FPS 1/33rd sec. toucam. Very little post process work, slight gamma adjustment & unsharp mask.
EDIT: The second image added is ID to the first one but sharpened in Neatimage. Artifacts coming through in this one but the details override that small error I reckon. The third is shot at 5FPS 1/25th sec. Just after the 10FPS run. I lost the plot on this one & captured for 150 secs. Too busy just watching Jupiter on the screen in wonder.

Asi mate, you're just powering ahead with this scope. :eyepop: What cracker shots, so sharp and so detailed.
I'm amazed by the third shot over 150 sec. I can't detect any evidence of rotational smearing?
cheers,

Wow! Gotta love the C9.25... :D Someone in a local NZ group recently said SCT's can only ever produce "average" results. I'm gonna send him a link to this thread... Stunning shot.

Hey thank guys. Glad you like 'em :)
I'm truly impressed with this C9.25! Wild horses could not drag this scope & I apart now! I just had my first decent visual thru it tonight (first one in nearly a year) after imaging the Europa & shadow transit. Gawd, splendid views!! Even with crook seeing I managed to split Antares with a 9mm .965" ortho EP!
Collimation holds really well too. I collimated 4 days ago & haven't needed to touch it since. Totally spot on no matter what magnification. Jupiter was a stunning sight with the 24mm ultima barlowed, & just as good a view with a 20 dollar 12.5mm .965" symmetrical I might add! Orange GRS & light red bands & europa & its shadow, simply fantastic!
Yeah you do that Robby! send 'em the link..  The C9.25 ain't no ordinary SCT....its a SSCT.....SUPER schmidt cassegrain telescope.
