tonight i have added another 5 photos to yesterdays m20 and i think it looks a lot smoother now i think
this time 5 at iso 800 @120s plus the iso 1600 from last night

BTW i thought i would try the dark frame thingy so my scope is snapping away with 10 @ 1600 @120s plus 10 @ 800 @ 120s
dont know what to bleedin well do with them though!

Depends on the software you are using to process. Some software packages do it all for you - all you need to do is drag the files into the right place on the screen. Don't forget bias frames too.
I am no DSLR imager, but to reduce noise I would think 800 would be better than 1600...

DSS has Dark Frame (and Flat, Dark Flat and Offset\Bias ) frame addition all listed down left side.
And do make a difference.... I've only used Dark Frame (files) so far but working up to the rest of the system slowly.

brent do you add the dark frames to the mix and then stack them all together with your images or do yo stack your images and then add the darks?
