Hi,

I am sort of lost with this image however it was taken last night in a rare moment of clear skies on the Sunshine Coast. Williams Optics Flt110 with QHY-9 at -20c. The lum is just 2 hrs of 8 minute shots as I have no darks and the flats did not work. RGBhas 2x2 binning and is 24 min each channel with darks and flats. Stacked in DSS and processed in phtoshop CS4.

Any advice welcome as I can't work out the colour.

Mark

:) Go to google, bring up all the images of the Swan Neb, pick your favourite then try to emulate it. LOL

Hi Batema, It doesn't look that bad to me. I'll agree it's not perfect, but I have seen a lot worse. I'm only beginning my astrophotography adventures, so can't really offer any advice. Your guiding and data look ok, so maybe it's just a processing thing? I usually have to process my pics atleast 10 times before I get something I am happy with.

Hi Mark,

The photo looks ok to me.

Could just be "bad" skies.

Ross.
