Does someone have an old or crappy, maybe broken (not completely beyond repair) EQ1 or 2 mount head (or EQ5 or 6 ;) j/k ) that was upgraded (or tripod broken) long ago and is just collecting dust, been waiting to get rid of?

I'm interested in playing around with one, (legs/tripod not necessary as I want to fashion my own stand), I'd like to maybe try to make it into a nock or camera mount.

I'm in Melb, would be willing to drive out ~30km out of melb or pay for shipping obviously, plus maybe < $30-50, but I'm really just after something to play around with that someone no longer needs/wants.

Anyway, I dunno if this is something someone may have kicking around, maybe a bit of a long shot but thought I'd ask.
Thanks.

Hi not sure if this is any good to you but I got ripped off on ebay for $74 for it if your interested let me know."This is a Celestron Small Telescope Equatorial Mount head. No tripod of counterweight. This is the CG1 or CG2 used with small refractors and reflectors. Will hold 3" refractors, 60mm refractors, and 80mm short tube refractors. Includes metal equatorial head, counterweight rod, and knobs. Also has the tripod triangle to fit legs to. Excellent condition." Forget about the excellent bit my father repaired it a bit but it still needs legs. Mine was identical as the one in this linkhttp://cgi.ebay.com.au/Celestron-Small-Telescope-Equatorial-Mount_W0QQitemZ7608076426QQcategory Z74926QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Thanks heaps for the offer Spaced Out, but Mick Pinner from this forum PMed me and offered an EQ3 (!) mount he's had kicking around, so I took a drive down to Monbulk on Saturday to pick it up. I can't believe he didn't want anything for it, it's in great condition. Just so as not to come empty handed I bought Mick a six pack and of course, wouldn't you know it, he doesn't drink beer! ;) So thank you very much Mick for the very generous donation! I'll make sure to put it to good use.
