Cloudy Brisbane

Hi all. This is a great new sub-forum :)

Brisbane has been cloudy of late ;( I got home from work a couple of nights ago and the cloud didn't stop me from having a go.

These shots are of the passing cloud layer, lit by Brisbane's lights, draped over Scorpius and the Southern Cross. White balance was problematic due to the mix of cloud and sky but I like this result.

For astronomer clouds are real enemies (if he is not a radioastronomer). But sometimes stars conquer clouds!
