Hi all

I've created a new sub-forum under the imaging section for 'Nightscapes'.

This includes the typical scenes that are often called landscape astrophotography, nightscapes, night sky scenes, skyscapes and can include single images and timelapses.

Usually a nice foreground scene with a night sky scene, usually taken with a camera and tripod (rather than a telescope with tracking mount).

I've moved a few recent images into there to get it started, but will go through and find more and move them when I get a spare 5 minutes.

They never really belonged in Deep Space, Solar System or Terrestrial, so hopefully people will be able to better find a place to put them and be more easily be able to find them if they're interested in that type of photography.

The forum is here:

MY NEW HOME! :D Thank you so much for this Mike and everyone else involved at Ice-In-Space. This will be so good now to be able to find, view and comment on nightsky scapes without having to go through three different forum sections to find them all. Bring on all the submissions. All you need is a camera and tripod......

I just noticed the change, that's a top idea.
Thanks for that, some absolutely stunning pictures are taken in this style so it's good to see them with a home.
