this may not exactly the right section for this although it has to do with equipment.
the thread l posted last week regarding help in setting up my LX200 on the new wedge was replied to by a number of people all offering very helpful advice, many thanks to Beren, AndrewJ, Rogerg, 1Ponders and everyone else, due to all the imput l recieved my scope now tracks almost indefinitely when doing a drift alignment.
however, l did find through trial and error, for example, when supposedly pointing at Regulus my scope was actually pointing at my foot, that the GPS and Classic model LX 200's actually have different set up procedures when polar aligning due to the fact that Classics do not have built it hard stops, l found it very difficult to find any conclusive information on this procedure on the net and therefore will do a how to soon on the subject, but the credit will go to all that responded to my initial question and once again thank you all.
