Very nice Tony... Negative feedback... Hmm that's a toughy as there ain't too much wrong with that, but if I was being picky I'd say the central region is a little too burnt out. Try combining some less processed images with this one to pull back the processing on the core.
Well done.
great stuff Dr Striker!
negative... well thats hard. a bit too much blue in the background below the galaxy. not optimised for lcd?

Ahh Tony, Now you're just showing off!! Nice job.
To be critical, I agree with what has already been said (burntout core - blue background) . Also the colours are a little pink for my liking. There should be some blue stars there too.

Thanks guys...all taken on board.
Tony regarding more Blue I already increased the blue bias thus the reason for the blue Ving is talking about...the raw image had very little blue in it....?????
But I have noticed other images I have seen posted of this target has more blue...but I put it down to being unmodded DSLR being blue bias.
Thanks guys.

Tony, yea, you are probably :D right. I was really being critical because you asked for it.
The colour in this galaxy is really very difficult to bring out. My attempt from last season was almost greyscale (half your focal length):

Hi Tony,
That is a fantastic picture, ive been waiting for a clear night to try it with the Canon + Lx200-10"/F-10, first go last night but set ISO at 1600 and too much noise, will follow your act and use ISO-800 with more Exp., as regards colour, I am attaching a picture ex the AAT by David Malin as a guide to want the colours should be ????, ill aim for this colour range see what happens, anyway thats a top notch picture of yours.
regards.........Jim

Nice shot, good job keeping the core from burning out while preserving the spiral arms.
