Hi everyone,
I've compiled a collage of planets from the night of 3/4th July from Brisbane. Mars had the best seeing, Jupiter wasn't too hot. All shown at the same apparent scale with some info from Sky Safari.
Canon EOS 60D, 5x Powermate, 2x Barlow, 12" SkyWatcher Goto Dobsonian.
Thanks for looking,
Tom

That is actually pretty awesome. Great detail on Mars for this stage of its cycle. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I have fun doing the compilations, even though the images aren't the clearest. Mars is alot easier to image now it is higher in the sky vs the last time it was this size and phase.

Top notch presentation and great images, particularly of Mars and Saturn IMHO

Great work Tom. Unfortunately I missed this elongation of Mercury. Thanks for showing.

Hi Tom
Mars has come out very well - it is tiny in the sky now!
I am surprised that your Saturns come out so nicely while Jupiter is a tough one - is that due to it's low position?
