I have been looking for a 2" tube that will screw into the Canon T-adapter and will also house 2" filters for my Canon DSLR....it looks like I have found what I want.

If any one wants 1 let me know by the end of the day as I will be ordering mine and any others by tonight.

Their are 2 versions here they are.

Low profile is $29.95USD + Postage
Basic with tube is $39.95USD + Postage

I will be getting the low profile as I need it to be as close to my 2" fitting as possible.

I am currently using the JMI but the JMI has only a 1 1/4" opening but the lumicon has a marginaly bigger opening improving vignetting.

Here is the Lumicon website if you want to see the prices.

Cost will be worked out on actual cost then split....no profits to me at all.

PM me if you want one.

I replaced an older version of the 2" to Olympus short adaptor used on my Lumicon Newt OAG with the L1080 ( They initially assured me it had Pentax M42 threads, which was wrong... it has the standard T mount thread) but when received I found the small fixing screws on the OAG body were too short to "lock" the new adaptor!! The recess on the latest version is much deeper than the original. Took a couple of emails and three weeks to sort out replacement screws.

Thanks Merlin.

I too have told them exactly what it needs to suit.

Should see them in a week or so so I will post the results.

Received both the lumicon 1080 and 1025 camera adapters yesterday....both designed to do the same job.

I fitted both to the canon 20DA T-Adapter and fit's perfectly..they both have the 2" internal filter thread aswell and provide the widest opening possible..reducing vignetting

I was a bit surprised no one else beside Andrew took my offer up as everyone with a DSLR should have one of these...oh well you know where they are and highly recommend the LC1025 for $39USD

The LA 1080 is the adapter I need due to using the lumicon focal reducer and have almost run out of focus...but we purchased both and I really cant find another adapter like it on the market..I'm sure their is but at that price.?????

I have been using the TeleVue 2" camera adapter and the Takahashi wide mouth adapter for quite some time now so I have no reason to change.

Tony, the second Lumicon adapter pictured looks identical to my Orion (prime focus Camera Adapter) model from Bintel at $59 Au, which almost the same price as the US item when freight is factored in.

Oh great...now everyone comes out of the wood work.....lol

They do look the same or atleast similar Phil.

I have to use the shortened one but the larger is better value for money.
