Hi All,

Imaged Jupiter this morning, despite the very low alt (less than 20 degrees) I have some detail and structure reasonably resolved. Have attached 1 RGB & 807nm IR data set. The color balance was a challenge with the RGB data as the sky brightened very rapidly from data set to data set.

The NEB is chaotic and I note a couple of very dark features (almost black) on the southern edge of the Neb in RGB. These dark features are very prominent in the 807nm IR data especially so if you blink between the RGB & IR images rapidly. Also of interest is the great difference in width & colour of the SEB, either side of the GRS. Have also attached animations of both the RGB & IR data.

Thanks for looking.

Regards
Trevor

Amazing detail Trevor, even for only such a low altitude. It is going to be interesting to see the progress of Jupiter as the image quality improves further. Appreciete the views. All the best.

Good stuff Trevor. I love these low altitude images as they are such a challenge. I cannot wait to see more of the NEB.
