Up all night processing Mars & Saturn so thought I may as well hit the sun. Pretty ordinary seeing & it just went down hill from there as the sun rose. Can't take a trick with this solar imaging so I might leave it upto the experts.. Still, I like having a play:D

That is pretty good - from what I have experienced and heard you need very good seeing with a larger scope - keep at it, you will nail it!

Thanks Matt. I have the C11 stopped down with an aperture mask but even so, still need good seeing. I've seen FLEETING good seeing on the livefeed & I've seen lovely granulation when it happens so I know exactly what I'm missing & what I haven't captured yet...As you say though; just a matter of time before I nail it:thumbsup:

I agree, this is very good given your diameter. Wait for the seeing.
