I had visions of joining up a couple of images of this region but the gradients and reflections I'm getting from the burbs will make it close to impossible to match the frames. So here's the top half from the burbs and I'm sure my gradient removal technique has removed more than just gradients. Also I don't think the little FS-60 has the legs to catch it all from here :(
I also posted the FOV I was after. Might be one for astrofest :P
FS-60 + Atik 11000. 3.2hours Lum + 1hour each RGB all binned x1. 8min subs.

I'm loving those tutti fruiti colours Robin. :D
The mosaic, it looks like a man-o-war jelly fish, floating on the water.

Nettie, Orientation was inspired by the version Jase (http://www.cosmicphotos.com/gallery/image.php?fld_image_id=181&fld_album_id=9)did a few years ago. It is probably still the best I've ever seen.
I definitely need dark skies for this one Ross. An Astrofest target for sure.

Lovely image. I have allways ruled out even trying this from burbs but this is encouraging and will give it a try myself.
Thanks for sharing.

That's a great result from home, Robin! Look forward to seeing what you can do under darker skies. Are you enjoying the option of longer subs with the new camera?
