I still had some functions to test with my gear and the night was clear at my place so I thought I would give it a go. EQmod now pulseguides instead of using the ST4 cable, and my guiding was great! I decided on 20 minute subs (longer than I have tryed for before) just to see if I could do it.

The complexity of this region is amazing, O and S filters are next on my list of things to get.

My guide graph is at 1.5 arc seconds per pixel.

Great detail in that shot Peter.

Thanks Ross, I am quite fond of the darker regions to the left and the right of the main nebulosity as the title suggests.

Very nice! I went with 10min subs and it wasn't enough! Good job!:)

Certainly getting there now Pete. I wanted to go down to Clayton last night but I have a very sixk wife at home and thought it would not be prudent to head down and image. I reckon by the time we get down again you will have it all sorted.

I wouldn't have thought it would have been clear all night. I was lucky to get setup at the right time here. I am looking forward to the next night though I have made significant improvements since last new moon.

I got out tonight and set up only to take one more frame and clouds to roll over, oh well I think it added something to the image

Yea these are 20 minute H-alpha frames, taken with my 7nm baader filter. I think making narrowband images would be great so I will get those filters next.
