Okay dudes, it's taken me way long to get the whole lot together. Managed tonight to get the camera AND the filter wheel working under maxim Dl-seems it has an assumption when you use the latest Ascom that the filter wheel is an EFW2 not my old thing the EFW.
Anyway, through hook and crook got everything working tonight so am proud to say soon I will be able to produce LRGB piccies. Also Ha added. But the Ha filter is not from the same manufacturer so I noticed some offset focus there. Also I could not get the focus running at the same time. This may be a facet of my poor old computer getting hammered with Maxim DL, PHD, and sometimes APT at the same time.
Anyhoo, look forward to my first ever LRGB/Ha photos.
NOT NOW!, have to work out how to stack and align -
seeing as my last post on H alpha stacking still confused, so I stacked those manually in nebulosity.
Any one any questions?, -You- at the back....yes I am afraid the fastest mammal is still the cheetah, though if you include birds then the Peregrine Falcon is the winner, of course , help yourself to a bit of cheese and a press pack. Parking? yes, straight past the hotel, hand brake turn and fast reverse into the neighbours hedge.
Man I love late nights and red wine!!!
