These are pretty good! I didn't like my chances of getting this right so I decided to film the whole thing from 3rd to 4th contact instead. The result (at 4x speed) is here (https://dl.dropbox.com/u/16496720/Venus%20Transit%202012%20-%20Egress.m4v) (54MB), the decisive moment must be somewhere in there :)

You can see that the seeing came and went but was pretty poor throughout. I also had to yank the mount a bit to keep the action centred… :P
