After Omaroo and Octane posted their 'street' photography shoot around Sydney, I have developed an appreciation for the class and texture that only black and white can deliver.

There is a chapel in one of the private schools we visit (we maintain their pipe organ) and on the wall are photographs of all the designated chaplains over the past hundred years or so. The pictures of the more recent are colour and seem so out of place, so uninteresting..

Anywho, I'm feeling inspired and leaving the ever reliable D200 in black and white, only switching to colour when the occasion calls for it, such as the Vivid festival in Sydney last weekend.

Any criticism welcome

They have come out fabulous!

I've scanned a whole bunch of 120: XP2 Super 400 and ACROS 100 (love this film so much!) and look forward to processing when time allows.

Thanks for sharing.

Great stuff, yet again Deeno :) I particularly like the last shot. What a great lobby shot. Tones are looking good in the night time scenes. Well done :)

Like Humayun, I'm shooting a fair amount of black and white film now, in addition to the colour to mono conversions. For many, many situations it's just so much more expressive than colour in my mind.
