Got up early to cloud and that didn't change until mid transit.
I had setup under my carport as it looked so bad but around 11ish I got a break for a few shots.
My lovely wife Carol :love2: looked after me with food and drink.
This was followed by heavy cloud for the next couple of hours, at 2:30 I thought it was all over for me but wait a sucker hole a few more shots close to the end and then gone.
I sat there watching with finger on the trigger and then at precisely at 2:44 a ray of light and WOW :eyepop: final contact and it was gone again.
How lucky was that hey.

Hope you like the shots.

Edit oops better put the pictures in

Very lucky though I could wish u had had more time to view it all. Your pictures are worth the time u put into it, they are very good.
Cheers

Thanks Trevor,
Yes the whole thing would have been nice but very happy with what I saw and captured.

Really nice work there Ken, and wonderful candid shots add to the event

Like you I was able to leave my PST set up traking and quickly dived to the eyepiece whenever a hint of sunshine (rare) showed.

It was a fun (but also frustrating) day.
At least I can say i saw it (and even managed to get the wife to take a peak)

cheers
