Don't worry about it. It's not going to affect the image.
Cheers

I didn't dry my last filter properly and it rusted and ended up with pin holes all through it. (I only discovered this yesterday afternoon)
Lucky to have had a 4cm square piece of mylar left in the packet. phew
So if you do decide to clean it, i think I used isopropyl, make sure it's perfectly dry before storing.

I agree with Steffen...
Just leave it and use it as normal.....
Absolutely no effect on the image, just leave it, you will probably make it worse trying to clean it.

Agreed, no need to clean it, as it will not affect the image in a way that you will detect.
If you are OC, then take a cloth used to clean prescription glasses and exhale on the spot, cleaning it gently (i.e. no pressure, just the weight of the cloth). Don't use water, as the surface tension between the mylar and water will cause the water to run everywhere and you will get nowhere...
