Transit from the Barossa Valley

From a perfect start with clear skys the day turned sour with clouds rolling in around midday. The tuocam died so I had to try taking pics by hand. Managed to get a few barely passableshots, certainly not nearly as good as some of the other talented Astro Photographers on here. This one is just at the start of egress and I had to contend with these bludgers buzzing around ruining the shots even more as well as dodging the clouds!!

Nice colours. What "bludgers" are you referring to? It almost looks like a Starship Enterprise!

In all seriousness and not withstanding the Enterprise, I am reasonably happy with it considering I used a little "instamatic" digital camera at the eyepiece
